The week COVID-19 began reshaping “normal" in March 2020, Chestnut Grove gave birth to our first ever “pandemic-born” fruit-bearing partnership: the Pasture to Produce Project.  

 

Combining donated land, labor, and farming expertise, our partnership produced over 6000  lbs of calorie-rich vegetables in 2020, which supplemented existing food pipelines serving our “food insecure” neighbors.

 

With the success of our 2020 season, our 2021 season is looking bright. All future steps including garden shaping, soil amending, seed and seedling planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting will be coordinated using SignUp Genius.
